TechnipFMC has secured a significant integrated Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation (iEPCI™) contract from Shell for the Gato do Mato greenfield project located offshore Brazil.
This project will not only feature integrated execution but will also incorporate Subsea 2.0® configure-to-order (CTO) subsea production systems. The combination of these solutions is designed to enhance project management efficiency through a unified interface, thereby expediting the timeline to first oil.
“Over our 30-year collaboration with Shell, we have established a remarkable track record of successful deliveries,” stated Jonathan Landes, President of Subsea at TechnipFMC. “Our ability to integrate and industrialize innovative solutions instills us with great confidence in meeting the schedule reliability that Shell expects for this key project offshore Brazil.”
For TechnipFMC, a “major” contract is defined as one exceeding $1 billion. This contract will be reflected in inbound orders for the first quarter of 2025.
